I have a Dell Precision 670 I got for free with Dual Xeons. It ran for about a month, and then stopped booting. I recapped the motherboard since there were a lot of bad ones on the board. Still didn't boot, so I replaced some of the ones that weren't bulging. Turned out to be a bad cap in the PSU that I missed on initial inspection. Anyway, I killed that PSU by accident, so I got a used one on fleabay, and the machine boots up now. The problem is, it reports "Onboard Nic Failure" now, and it seems to not recognize any of my pci cards in the PCI-x slots anymore, which makes me think the whole bus is broke. Tried upgrading the BIOS, and that didn't help. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not sure where to start looking.
