    Macbook A1466 820-00165 PPBUS Missing

Hello, I have a Macbook A1466 80-00165 which is not turning on. It is taking 0 ohms and the PPBUS_G3H is at 0v at F7140.

Tried Injecting 1V but nothing gets hot.
Removed the F7140 fuse and the Pin#2 is still short to ground.

Can anyone suggest where the issue is ?

What is the exact resistance in ohms to ground of pin #2?

Remove all power before measuring resistance.

Are you using the original magsafe adapter?

3v42 rail is ok and stable?

Found C7434 PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS short. Replaced it. Replaced the Fuse to check and getting 8.6V now on both pins but the device wont turn on. No Fan Spin as well.

Removed the Fuse and Removed Power.

      Resistance at F7140

      Pin#1 133 Ohms
      Pin#2 475 ohms

      Magsafe Charger is Original.

      PP3v42 is stable.

Both of these are too low of a resistance value.

Can you confirm the readings? Test with another meter.

Do you have a thermal camera?

Visual Inspection showed that U6100 seemed burned out. Replaced that. It is working fine now.

So i have an issue on this Mac, was sick so was away from office these days.
After replacing the U6100, the macbook has become very slow. If it goes to sleep it would take a very very very long time to come back awake as if it had shut. So i went ahead and did an internet recovery to go back to a faster MacOS. But after that it doesnt boot up. The loading bar comes with the apple logo, it goes upto the end but wont boot up.

Have i installed the wring U6100 version chip or is it something else.
