    What type of cap is this?

    It's super small and there is no writing. There is also no schematic where it came off of.

    It's for an class d audio amp board out of a Chinese made Bluetooth speaker

    I think it's a zener but how do I know what value!?!?!

    it's a diode.
    probably not a zener because it only has a black band.
    probably an FDLL4148

      First thing Id do is to check it with a meter. It should act like a diode. Low resistance one way, high the other. If it acts good, then I wouldn't suspect it without further evidence. Does it have any markings at all on it? Like on the side we cant see?

        you need a test circuit if it isnt shorted or open ..or simply put it back in and check voltage across it .
