                  Hi all,

I'm Andrew. I have a degree in electrical engineering, but these days I spend my time on the software side of things. I discovered the forum while trying to fix some home electronics. It looks like a fantastic resource.

                      Hello all,

Joining the forum on a recommendation when looking for technical advice. Limited experienced in TV/computer/electronics repair, so don't know if I would be much help to others. Often try to fix whatever is busted. Manage to get some things working with enough time and study, and manage to break some worse in the process more than I like to admit. Very helpful to have the resources of others available, and learn along the way.

                                          Hello Everyone,

my name is Felix from Switzerland. I've started out in the Z80 era putting together my first assembler code, then the MC68000 (assembler / C) use in the Atari ST and so on. Currently I am a firmware programmer (mostly C). I also tinker and try to fix hardware in my spare time.

This great forum was pointed out to me by several professional board level repair guys from the Netherlands, the US and Australia. Currently I am trying to fix a MacBook Pro with doesn't turn on anymore. No liquid spill, very clean board. My current guess is a bad capacitor so I decided to sign up.

Hope you are all well in this strange times.

                                          Cheers
                                          Felix
