Here is a project that I put together from a battery pack and switching power supply and belt pouch holder for the battery pack
This battery pack was made for the helmet cooling fan or vest cooling
This was an item that was available from them but it is already sold out
But I have repurposed it to power a flashlight with 4 power levels the controller board is very interesting that it deliverers four power levels 3 , 5 , 6 , 7.2 volts
It also lets you know how much charge is on your battery pack
One note the battery power supply was set to number 4 which is the 3 volt output of the controller
One other note it does not work correctly with LED light bulbs at all it blinks to much until you get to 6 volts it does not matter if you put a capacitor on the output it just slows down the flashing
However it is still available in a lower amp hour battery pack and I am not sure if it has the display but I bought a box of them for other projects that I have in mind
