    Sata addapter for Lenovo M91 advise?

    Hi folks ,need some advice on getting a Sata adapter for old sandy bridge M91 series ;To get files out from a bad

    Why not just plug it in internally, no adapter needed.

      Thanks diff, but it doesn't boot up,it either has a problem with HDD itself or HDD corrupt HDD,i've aready got another HDD and PC is working fine now.I tried to reinstall Win from a ISO cd but it never booted from CD either. I already ordered this ,so i'm gonna try if i can format hdd,

        I was meaning as a slave, SATA is faster for data transfer than USB2. Some hard drive software doesn't work through those type of adapters but it depends what you're doing.

          Thanks diff;I'm just trying to format HDD if hdd software is just corrupt , i could try to get the cable from other pc and connect to the slave connection ,you think it will work to format HDD?

            I have a whole separate computer do drives and other tools

            Yes that is a lot of drives, upgrading people to ssds seems to pile them up

            we called them shop boxes back where I used to work
