    Re: I need a charger schematic YLT6722000

Not sure if duty cycle would cause more ringing but if the frequency goes up the ringing would occur more often, but it's not frequency that determines energy transferred, it's duty cycle... though would be interesting what PWM chip this thing uses, can't read the chip number.

But it is weird that the MUR1060FCT (50ns recovery) is indeed an ultra fast recovery diode and not the FR207 (0.5µS recovery). Still doesn't beat that one SMPS PSU I had that actually did use a 1N4007 (30µs recovery) as the auxiliary power rectifier... That definitely got hot and fried itself...

Checked all the resistors are ok, replaced the diode FR207 with FR104 150nsec (was available) charge 4 hours the battery 60v, diode temperature 42°C MUR1060CT 58°C

The battery is fully charged with no errors
Thank you all very much for your help

          I am hoping that's a typo. You changed out the FR207 (2A 1kV) for a FR104 (1A 400V)? That's not good!

That diode is on a circuit powering a LM358 and some random circuitry I think, so it couldn't be worse than 72 volts P-P, and definitely does not draw much current.

The speed is what mattered apparently. Only ~ 3x faster but if it made the difference, it made the difference.

Well, personally I’d stay away from the fr diodes.

seems like that's a good idea, though surprised the FR207 is that slow...then again it's still 60x faster than 1N4007.

Help me identify the transistor, I can't find it anywhere

Unknown manufacturer. I would consider AOTF18N65
Harder to find TO-220F. I can't see why it's 18A, this power supply doesn't even come close to that.
