Re: Remove rear panel Sony Bravia KD-65X7500F

Sorry to be a pain again, but is checking all fuses on the control board the last thing before getting another board?
    Cheers

Not much else you can do with minimum service info of the main board.

I have bitten the bullet and bought a used main board Is there something I should do to protect it whilst replacing it. IE disconnect anything(other than have it off and disconnected from the wall) before doing so.

          Thanks

Success, 2nd hand main board has now brought new life to the Sony.

Fitted it this afternoon, inserted the USB stick with the latest software/firmware ready to go.

White light at bottom came on white, flashed for a while, it turned to green, and then sat there with the white light flashing. From memory I had seen this pattern when it has done an ota update, so I left it alone. About 10-15mins later the scrolling android startup screen splashed up, and from there all normal things were available.

I ejected the USB and tried turning the tv on/off a few times and all is good.

I'll refit the back cover panel over the next few days, and all should be good

Many thanks to all those people here whom have assisted me, and without all your support, my outcome would never have been achieved.

            Thanks everyone...

              Thanks for feedback.
I stop Automatic OTA updating, regular updating, I will wait a few months then look on line to see if many people has issue with new update or not. I had a few TV's in the Video lab that had lots of issues that were not there before updating.
If the TV works fine and fit what I need then I do not update them.

Thank you...I just did the software update as the tutorial said this must be done each time a main board is changed. I do take your point in regards to waiting for others to use any updates, so that problems are not yours straight away
