Lenovo Ideapd 5 15ITL05 Bios request

Hello friens , i have a Lenovo Ideapd 5 15ITL05 wont charge battery, so i have these escenarys


laptop with battery and charger plugged.... laptop power on but wont charge battery and no detect the ac adapter

laptop only with ac adapter plugged .... laptop power on but wont charge battery and obvuisly no detect the battery

does somebody has a working bios dump for this laptop, the MB is NM-D211 Rev 1.0

Post your old BIOS backup, I will clean the ME Region to see if that helps. Do three readings.

Have a dead unit in atm... someone has done work to it and have removed replaced the bios chips and the ec. so not sure the state of this dump... this system seams to have a dead smc chip. this board dose not have the video chip populated

Hi friend. do you know, what chip is the main bios? this mb has 3 bios chips

Usually the largest has the main bios, but do make a reading of all three, sometimes ec comes in 32MB and main in 32MB too. Someone here will figure them out. Best is to look at the schematics if you have them.

From what i can tell the ub2 1mb one is for the usb3 retimer
the uc704-uc703 8mb has the me and discriptor
theuc702 16mb has the uefi

depending on the fault i have had luck just doing the uefi 16mb chip but its usily best to do both the 16mb and the 8mb.
ignore the 1mb unless having usbc problems.
Im prity shure they combine the 8mb and 16mb chips.... i still dont know why they do it that way meby its cost cutting

As its a 5-15ITL05 and not a 5-14ITL05 your posts have been moved to a 5-15ITL05 thread.

Different Model Types can have different bios versions ! You can find which bios version you need by entering the laptop serial at Lenovo support,then looking at the bios update version number.You can check that number by looking at your own backup with a hex editor,and searching for the same FXCN .If you ask for more help in future it does save us time if you post the serial and/or the model type

You should have another chip, it must be 16MB.
