        did you follow instruction above taking out battery and cmos plus holding down the litlle switch if available on board ? sometime leave for 30-60sec just charger cable

            *Remove all batteries (main battery and RTC battery).
            *Patch the bios and make sure to verify it so there aren't any errors when writing.
            *Hold down the small switch on motherboard
            *Connect charger (laptop should start automatically)
            *Wait. It might even take minutes and laptop will beep/restart a few times.

              Not working, I do everything by instructions, but the same thing.

                  i have 8mb bios in T440 but i can only see 16mb
                  could i ask for help in locating 8mb DXE patch
