    Is this inductor still usable?

    Hi all,
I found this inductor in a server power supply and I am unsure if its still usable.
First I thought its an exploded diode, but when I removed it I saw the designation L on the PCB and after asking on discord it turned out its a inductor. How ever... it looks to me like its a wrap of thin layers of some material and its flaking off on touch. Also the area where it was, all the components there are covered in some white powder.. like there was an explosion going out from this inductor.
So the question is... is this still usable, and if not... what kind of inductor is this and where do I get a replacement?
Its coming from a server power supply.
    Power-One: HB-PCM01-580-AC

I am a complete beginner at electronics and just playing around with repairs for fun... more to learn then anything really. Every information is welcome!!

It is likely ok, I suspect it is basically just a piece of wire with a ferrite bead attached, there was likely some type of coating on it but it should not effect its operation.
