Not working with a 820 G2 with MX25L128 chips.

Tested 2 different laptops but they dont start after password is removed. Putting back original dump and the laptops work again.

Tested also with the Winbond chips and they seem to work fine.

It doesnt matter what chips are used. And please upload your dumps so I can check whats wrong.

Hey all. I can confirm the unlocker work good!
I cleared my dump and flashed three different chips (W25q128FV) with cleared file.
PC is a HP 820 G3 and used software to flash is Colibrì. I prefer this last one as CH341 is always giving me different results.
Excellent job.
If yoiu need smc.bin file for studying purposes I have the original one sent by HP but never worked on the PC.

Well, I checked the files.

I am 100% sure that unlocker did not break the file. If original file works then unlocked file works just as well + is unlocked.
Maybe your programmer is unable to write properly?

Did you write + VERIFY?

What file is not working? What are you trying to do and with what. What happens when you try to do something?

Yes, sorry about that. Your password was set up a little different than on most locked HP-s.

This will work.

Can you pm me how you managed to extract the BIOS? Did you use a test clip or did you remove the chip? If so, which one is it?

zbook15g5 got an MX25L25673 32mb eeprom - cant read that with pi nor with the tl866cs - ordered the tl866 ii plus - its listed in there.
tested with 5 different 840g3 - 2 working, one blackscreen, one only blinks one dosnt remove the passwort. Cant get the other 2 with blackscreen and blinking shift key to work again

- any clean dumps out there i can try my luck with?
