bios extracted from the HP sit6e update, the laptop has three bios variants, yours is 084E5
DMI 0 - 10FF
KEYWIN 8000 - 803F

If you can`t use a hex editor you can still add the DMI yourself using this guide https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=116311 .
Follow the Easy guide and use this attached script.

Did you use the script from post #3 .Did you check your backup to make sure its good ? ,post it here

Edit: I think you could have a double file extension,can you check your windows (explorer) Folder options, look for a setting called "Hide extensions for known file types" and untick it. oldbios.bin should only have .bin ,let me know if its something else after .bin
