i managed to unlock the bios password by myself in neo hex editor the 16mb chip. but my problem now is the absolute lock. my patch doesn't work from files i compared here.

i managed to unlock the bios password by myself in neo hex editor the 16mb chip. but my problem now is the absolute lock. my patch doesn't work from files i compared here.

so i managed to unlock by myself. its just so easy but complicated now i know how to unlock this model. i just copied the DMI data manually searching the serial, board CT, mac address etc. here's the guide use my bios swat unlocked.

i searched the dmi data in unlocked bios then trasfer my dmi to the unlocked ones and now it works.

HERE'S THE GUIDE HOPE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND.
USE MY BIOS DUMP IN THE ATTACCHMENT HP 840 G6 SWAT UNLOCKED.

SERIAL NUMBER BLOCK ADDRESS : 00749807 , 00757cab , 00794cfd , 007a6dc5 , 007a6e89 , 018fd9ee , --> edit and put your serial number in that 6 address

SYSTEM BOARD CT BLOCK ADDRESS: 007aaf51 and 018fdaf4 -->edit and put your CT number in that 2 address

MAC ADDRESS: 01900040 -->edit and put your MAC ADRESS in that address ITS ENCODED IN UNICODE STRING SO DONT DELETE THE DOT.

BUILD ID: 018fe754 -->edit and put your BUILD ID in that address

THEN IN FIRST BOOT GOTO BIOS PRESS F10 RESET SECURITY TO DEFAULTS. THEN USE MPM TOOL IN WINDOWS PUT ALL THE DMI FROM YOUR BOARD are LOCATED in THE STICKERS..
MAKE SURE YOU FORMAT THE OLD SSD WITH LOCK BEFORE BOOTING TO WINDOWS. I USED HEX EDITOR NEO CRACK.

since you didn't upload the 16mb try this. ON FIRST BOOT RESET SECURITY SETTINGS IN BIOS. THEN PUT THE DMI MANUALLY VIA MPM TOOL.ALL YOUR DMI ARE IN THE BOARD STICKERS.

I am using this method on my own 840 G6. I have successfully removed the password by replicating the changes made in the 32MB unlock file, but HP BCU tool won't program the Product Name and Feature Byte.

The system is in MPM unlocked mode and I have set the CT, Serial and Build ID using HP BCU.

WnDMIFit gives a Board Not Supported error and runs in read-only mode.

Any advice please?
