Hi, have a MacBook here that has had severe waterdamage. I'm the third person working on it as far as I got the story straight, so no high hopes to begin with.
The device is taking 5V/0A, so the first thing I've checked is PPBUS_AON, it's floating around 1V. I measured at fuse F5200, took the fuse off to make sure it wasn't being dragged down by something else, but stays around 1V.
I'm assuming it's the ISL9240 (U5200) not working properly. I see work done around there, and leftover corrosion. Should I just go ahead and order these, or am I skipping a step here?
On a side note, I'm looking for correct replacement resistor for R5220 but I can't seem to find them. It was taken off for some reason, and I've now put another resistor (0402 size, 0 Ohm) there temporarily. If anyone knows where to get them that would be great.
