Another one of those LCD panel with tab bonding boards on the bottom edge of the panel which prone to fail due to cleaning fluid used on the screen.

Might try disconnecting ribbon cable to panel one at a time and see if you get any picture.

I just picked up the same tv with the same problem. When I unplug the ribbon marked in red, the tv will display a good image on the screen side marked in red. When I unplug the other ribbon the image is full of crap and kind of dissipates. Bud, do you think it is only a bad tcon? I do get 12.6v on both sides of the fuse.

You can try blocking some pins on the ribbon connector on the bad side.

I would check the resistance of the caps on the tab bonding board, if none of them show <100 Ohms or so then you can try taping off method.

                        Re: Samsung un50H6350

I also have a Samsung un50h6350 tv with no picture and maybe no sound (later explained).

When i power it on, the tv standby light will blink 6 times and then the tv stays powered on but still no picture. No sounds are heard when pushing remote but i was able to blindly navigate i believe to the sound diagnosis tab and then i was able to hear the music playing but still no picture. The backlights all light up and the t-con board has 2 blue led lights. One is labeled led1 and the other is labeled led 2. I did find another led3 on the board but it doesn't light up. I ordered another t-con board and exact same symptoms with 6 blinks, backlight on and only 2 led lights on t-con board. If the backlight is functioning could it still be a bad power supply or possible main board or is it likely the panel diverter board (which I assume is too expensive of a fix. Any help appreciated.

I would have started a new thread, but being a noobe apparently I am not allowed yet.

Do the tape method. I've saved many tvs of this and similar models.

Additional testing. I disconnected the left ribbon cable going from t-con to panel and now the 3rd led light on t-con board lights up and it shows half a picture. Connecting the ribbon cable back up and disconnecting the other one results in the tv displaying the original symptoms of back light on and no picture.

                              What is the tape method?

This will give you an idea of what you can try. Different tv, but method is same. Lots of trial and error but I've done many Samsungs this way.

Very sophisticated using hi tech equipment, so just try taping the the bad side of the tcon.

Repaired this set - tape method. after many tries - best solution was masking pin 2 and 3 on lvds ribbon cable on Tcon board side. It does have the faint horizontal lines if you look very close at the top of the screen. Not a perfect picture but not bad from a distance. Good enough for me !
