    LA-H131P ideapad s340 no power

    Hi guys i found that PU401 was heating , i found that 3vlp is in short so i removed solder from jp402

    after removing i have on pin 13 3.3v

    pl402 no out

    and on pin 2 of jp402 is in short , if i inject 3.3 i get UEC1(KB9022)

    can be ec in short ?

    Where is the doubt?? You youself has diagnosed it correctly and its time to remove the KBC and see if the short is gone. KB9022 Needs to be programmed once replacement is soldered.However, i've seen a lot of cases these days when pch part of SOC also gets damaged alongwith SIO when there is shorting on +3VLP. So keep your fingers crossed. Remove kbc, clean the pads and measure reistance on +3V LP.
