Testing a TV panel without working boards.

I am trying to come up with a solution for my shop to test TV panels before we start ordering boards and other parts. I have searched these forums and haven't been able to find anything worth while. What does everyone use? TIA

you can get universal tv/monitor boards from china real cheap - but i dont know if they can drive a big panel with a tcon, they have the 2row connector like on pc monitors.

I was thinking of buying one but dont do enough repairs to justify it at the moment.

I have one. Only got it to work on one panel. Still doesn't tell you if it is panel or t-con. I wish they made a t-con tester.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.
