    Mains inverter build quality pictorial

    Calibre 240V/1000W Pure Sinewave Inverter (12V input)

    On each of the output transformers at the primary side:
    2x HRF3205 MOSFETs on each side of the centre tap
    2200uF 16V x2
    30A fuse x2

    On the isolated secondary side:
    Both output transformers secondaries are wired in series
    MUR860 x4 full wave bridge rectifier for the HV DC output
    IRFP460 x4 H-bridge output for the AC output
    1000uF 250V Chemi-Con KMG (fake) x2 in series for the HV DC output
    1000uF 35V for the low voltage control supply
    PIC16F716 microcontroller (not code protected ) for sinewave generation/AC output regulation

    My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

    can you do a scope trace video of the sine wave unloaded and loaded to max ?
