    Acer V3-372 Wistron Mihawk 15208-3

    Hi guys,

I have a laptop acer v3-372 that not power on. The ac adapter are desarmed when I plug on the laptop. If I remove PU4302 or PU4401 the short desapear. That are a p-channel mosfet. Outside the motherboard seems to be ok, but when in the motherboard the asymmetric source with 3v have 0.51A consum and the two mosfets are very hot.

Can anyone help me to find the short circuit in this motherboard?

It seems your +19V rail is shorted. Remove PU4401 and check resistance on pin1/4/8.
