![]() Hi, It's been a while since I've messed with this laptop so my memory may not be 100% correct,
Current Absolute settings are listed bellow. "Absolute Persistence Module Current State Activation Status: Inactive Absolute Persistence Module Permanent Disable: No" I would like to be ride of the Absolute all together if possible or at least be able to change " Permanent Disable to "Yes". Am I correct in thinking that "Permanent Disable No" means that it can be activated remotely at any time? In my first attempt I believe I flashed both the Winbound 25Q128FVPQ that's located next to the memory slots and also the 25Q64FVIQ that's located around the same area but on the under side of the board. Every time I would boot after flashing the system would inter a bios recovery mode and automatically reload the original bios, any idea what I was doing wrong? Or if it's even possible to do with a bios flash? Thanks. |
