Hello,
I have an old Micron M600 512gb SSD that cant be detected on my laptop. I purchased a startech M.2 SATA SSD to 2.5in SATA Adapter and it can't be detected through it either. I did a continuity check on various components and eventually I found an area of interest when checking for areas that would heat up.
Upon further inspection ,It seems that the area circled in red might be the issue here. A shorted resistor? looks like its reading 018.2ohms and when probing both sides, its showing that there is continuity when testing with my multimeter.
Would replacing/ removing this fix the issue? any help would be appreciated here. Nothing on it is important enough for me to care if I lose the data but I'd prefer not to if it can be avoided.
