    can you help me identify this component?

    Hi im new here and new to tv repairs and i have a Soniq U58V14A-AU that has backlight and sound but no picture and i was wondering what this component is

    Its a diode.Take a look at the white silkscreen below it. D4 is the diode ,the others begin with C and R ,Capacitor , Resistor.

        The diode is a MiniMELF case, it could be a LL4148. it will check as a regular diode. Best to post some pictures of the boards and one of the complete back of the tv showing how the boards are connected. If looks like the tv has a t-con board, check if it has voltage on both sides of the fuse. the fuse is near the lvds cable and is a white smd usually with a letter on it marking the value.

          You should create a post in the TV section, put down the make and model of the TV in the header, put down what the TV is not doing, attach good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards; that will be a good starting point.
