i creat account activated but cant post new thread
i have surface book2 with locked uefi bios password
i see some people post there bios locked with pass and you can give them unlocked bios without pass sorry again but i am noob i wanna understand
1- how to bios for my surface book 2 is there tool or software for that
2- if i success to get tool is that a same tool who can write bios without pass
if its only software trick i will appreciate a lot your help

do you need physical access to the uefi chito up upload it, or can you do it another way. just about to open mine up, was hoping there is a simpler way.

On pro 3, it is possible to read bios region using software and then decrypt the password. Pro 4 is different. You can still read bios region but I dont know how to decrypt password on that model. So at this point, physically accessing bios chip is the way to go.

oh cool, what sort of software. Wish it was the the other way around, i have a 3 as well, but it has a broken screen and bad battery, so it has to be opened any way.

Anything that is able to read bios. I am using fptw. But it cant be used to read whole bios. I use it to read bios region only but that is where the password is. And it cant be used to write bios (otherwise unlocking 4 would be very easy aswell) because there is write protect.
