    Oled lg 55ec930v

Hi Guys, I have the above tv here, first of all when I got it all it did was click etc, cracked all boards over for dry joints burns etc nothing found.

Used IRBlaster to power on, then used tv remote to turn off and reinstalled everything all ok except there's a line on the screen shown in photo it seems to fade out on the right hand side
The line is just before the end of her nose

    Any ideas please
    Thanks in advance
    Gary

The fault is in the panel itself, pretty obvious, like led tv ones.. it would be curious if you find the same similar circuits on the screen borders than lcd ones.. but not sure if you can fix it..

Davi.p Thanks for the input, I think it’s the panel too but as I have never worked on an oled before I thought I’d ask,

there is one dead gate driver, difficult on how to isolate it, maybe with tape like lcd..

I wondered if it was possible to do that that's why I asked on here thanks Davi.p I might give it a try but it's hard to tell if it's the top or bottom that's at fault

Oh i didn't expect that this tv will work fine without powering off. Yes it's sure the panel. I'm not thinking that t-con can be the issue.

Of the screen as it's different shades if that makes sense

The bad colors are the top if tcon is on the bottom, otherwise the opposite, but the faulty part is only the line , after that all lines are affected due to a control signal tension flaw, for example VGH.. the short in single driver generates a tension drop...

Is it ok disconnecting tcon to screen lvds cables as you would do on lcd screens to narrow Down the damaged line
Tcon is at the bottom of the tv
                          Thanks

Do it at your own risk, from what see in photos you can disconnect one half, but better to keep connected both two of that half because one is most p.supply, the other all signals, i think is no good connect only supply one..
