thinkpad yoga 460 - no usb in OS. in boot/install all ok

i replaced 2 broken usb 3.0 ports before i realize it have dead controller

in windows show its xHCI controller is dead.
is way how to make this work? anybody knows where is usb 3.0 controller?

The "Controller" you're searching for is probably inside of the PCH.

but damn why can everything works in boot and not in system. maybe bios mod will help

What is the error code showing in the Windows device manager for the xHCI controller?

Which windows version are you running?

Any bios enabled security features?
