    Question about solder paste vs solder balls

    hi friends
    what about using solder paste to reflow vram because it is easier than solder balls
    but it will working perfectly or it will die after short time ?
    I need your experience

    I think solder paste is easier to work with, since it's essentially many small balls suspended in flux. It sticks easily and the flux helps a lot in making a proper solder bond. You do need to keep in mind that it has less actual solder in it because flux makes up a large part of the volume.

    As for longevity, it shouldn't matter if a proper solder bond is formed. Flux helps a lot.
