Re: samsung tv ue43ru7400u dark screen problem help
Most likely you have a short in the backlight bars since this is a edge lit Tv. Alot of times is actually melts the diffuser and will leave light bleed on the bottom where the leds got too hot after you replace the led bars and you can't buy new diffusers so is it worth repairing? Not on that size Tv. You have to pull the panel just to get to the backlights and if the diffuser is melted there is no use in replacing them because they are just going to leave light bleed across the bottom of the panel which looks like crap. Samsung quality went to hell a long time ago spending more money fighting corruption charges than on engineering.Comment

Re: samsung tv ue43ru7400u dark screen problem help
yes if you have a backlight tester,
what happens if you remove the cable between mainboard and power supply do the backlights power on then?
This will give you a rough idea whats involved to change backlights but remember big risk of cracking lcd panel!

by ChrissygizmoHello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same... -
by mmccomputerI have an HP model : 14-cf0011nf and I want to change its display screen (it has an original 14" full HD TN 30 pins panel) which works without problem but I want to put another screen with an IPS panel, the problem is that I tried several screens but there is no display except with the original screen, I never had this problem before I changed hundreds without problems but this PC is not 'accepted than its original screen
otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?
If anyone has any information on the subject... -
by ChrissygizmoHi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -
by jimjoe123I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.
Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.
Then each time... -
by CityZenThis curved LCD TV has an issue affecting just the right side of the screen. It is not a backlight issue, although it might appear so from one of the attached images. The problem appears to be the right side of the screen not updating properly. Moving images on the very right side will leave a trail of ghost images. Although even just the computer cursor sitting still makes a vertical ghost band the entire height of the image. The color on the right side also looks like it doesn't have the full bit depth (the Windows background looked kind of dithered on that side).
