Problem transfer file from a samsung sgh-e710

    Good morning everyone
I need your help because I have to recover photos from an old samsung sgh-e710, the cell phone has only infrared to communicate with the computer and the usb cable (purchased for this reason). I have downloaded both PcStudio 3 and Easy studio but I cannot show him the phone, I probably need the drivers that I cannot find online, currently I have tried with windows 10, but if it is necessary I can install windows xp on a computer, I await the your help thanks

The phone should have a removable memory card somewhere on the logic board. Suggest to use a memory card reader and data recovery s/w (if required) to access the photos.

Test (without writing onto the same memory card) a mix of data recovery programs as they do vary in success of restoring lost photos.

Help with trying to fix phone that is not charging (Pics inside)
            by SluggerB
I have two TCL A30 phones.

Old Phone: This phone worked fine for years, then stopped charging If you plugged a charger into it, the phone would make the charging sound, the phone would tell you it is charging, but the battery icon would not have the charging symbol in it and the battery would not charge.I tried new battery, same behavior.

New Phone: Works fine, bought as a donor board to try and repair Old Phone

My interest here is to repair Old Phone, using components parts off New Phone if needed. I am not interested in replacing Old Phone with New Phone....

Intel iMacs, 3rd party SSD failures and Fusion setups
            by reformatt
I thought I'd throw out some of my personal experiences in the last 12 months with Intel iMacs, 2.5" SATA SSD drives and Fusion drive data recoveries.

As a backgrounder, Apple never fitted a 2.5" SSD's to these iMacs. Apple's SSD option was a system of 32GB NVMe blade drive (NGFF connector) and Seagate 1TB 2.5" HDD, married together in software to become a Fusion drive. Non Fusion systems have just the 1TB Seagate HDD.

So, the most common reason an iMac comes across my bench is because it's either ridiculously slow, or it fails to boot at all. The most...
