Repair or replace Pal Original Playstation 2 fan

I got a playstation 2, which is mine and I incidentally broke off the white plastic bit the slots in the board. I was cleaning it. Which part do I buy to replace or how could I fix the fan?

Can you post an up close pic of the white connector and wire ends?

If memory serves, the wires just press fit into the connector.

Worst case, you can just hardwire it by soldering it on to the motherboard connector.

yea, the wires press into the contacts.
but you need to get them the right way around.

I put the PS2 back together and I lost the sunlight, camera is dodgy for anything else.
          I post a picture tomorrow.

I had trouble putting the wires back in the white plastic part.
How do I press them in securely, I tried that but they fell off.

First if you can trim off 1/4 inch of the wires to get past the original cuts I would do that, then lay the wire across the two metal slots and using a thin flat piese of metal or a small flat blade screwdriver push the wire down into the slots.

Here are some more pictures, the white plastic bit is tough to get the leads back in, I need another fan or plastic part.

you could buy plugs from china with cables on them, or solder the wires to the board if your desperate.

There should be a metal retention / contact type of piece in that white plastic part too for each pin.. I didn't see it in the picture. Are they missing? If so... you can solder on to the board side
