I'm asking coz i checked hp web update and it shows 3 files of 8mb and 1 file of 16 mb which should have solved if it was bios issue. I know you are a man with good expertise, thats why asking you for clarification.

You can "cut" the file using a hex editor https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/

bios and EC extracted from the HP site update...the laptop has four bios versions...
DMI A20000 - A21FFF for the 16MB version
DMI 220000 - 221FFF for the 8MB version
