Hi friends, i have this laptop ( rev G ) i see on youtube that for 2 long beep and 2 short beeps it's necessary to reflash the BIOS eprom.

the eprom name is Winbond 25q128fvsq

i have 2 programmer CH341 (GOLD type) .. and a new TL866II PLUS...

i think thatthe TL866II PLUS is the better to flash the image, but i tried with all these roms (maybe i ve no tried the CLEAN version) , everything seems ok but the laptop just start, the fan is spinning (increasing speed) but there are no beeps.

i'm not whure if i'm selecting the correct flashing procedure, beacuse i have 2 choices:

Winbond 25q128fv
Winbond 25q128fv (OTP)

(these 2 with soic8 or soic16... and i think soic8 is the right choice)

bat what i need to select? i used always the 1st choice (NOT OTP)

if i select the OTP i have more choices when loading the dump...
for example: "to region" that can be: Default, FLASH, OTP secu.R

or .. "file format" that i think it's correct with: BINARY (and not intel HEX)

anyone can help me to be sure that i was programming the eprom correctly before starting searching something else on logic board.

Hi Peste, i have the manual and i readed/programmed also some Asrock/Asus bios chips with success... the only thing i can't understand is if these dumps (posted here) needs the (OTP) selection (on eprom type) ... just asking if someone that own this programmer can explain how to re-flash these dumps, just to be sure that i'm doing everyhting in the right mode.

if the bios chip model is not exactly in the programmer's database, you can also use OTP ...

OTP is one time programmable, best not to use it .

My hp proobok 440 g3 motherboard DAX61CMB6C0 REV C

when I connecting AC only the LED on the switch is on.
the screen is black.
the fan not turning.
