i have a bios locked from a pc HP 800 g1 sff!

Tried with HPunlocker but didnt work.

If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

This is a different bios than mine as i can undestand comparing them so it will need DMI info and i want to avoid that.

So i would like if someone can unlock mine as it is!

I didnt programmed it cuz i saw its another version than mine m8. If no one can unlock it i will do it and post!

Update.

The bios has a Stringent password enabled.

That restricts the jumper password removal thats why i asked your help!

I programmed the bios you sended and entered DMI info but it doesnt get mac address and i cant input it.

Any help on that?

P.S. Other than that it seems to working fine.

Hi,

I have multiple EliteDesk 800 G1, i5 4th gen, board no pdqlb0mcy7gngf.
BIOS chip in question is MX25L12873F.

I need to re-program the BIOS in order to remove the password, apparently PSWD jumper doesn't help. I am NOT an expert on BIOS re-programming so please bear with me.

I used ch341a with "CH341a programmer" software to read and save the BIOS dump BEFORE sending it to RCUnlocker. I've got my _unlocked file and tried to re-program with "ch341a programmer". That end up being no success, software was throwing error like "memory and chip contents are in disagreement" kind of error message.

I later tried AsProgrammer, that told me I might have "possible write protection", I re-programmed the chip with auto button with _unlocked bin, soldered back to mobo, no post, fans full speed.

Now even if I want to put the original BIOS back it says "File size larger than IC size"

Is there anything special with this chip? What is my mistake here? I attached the original BIOS dump.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

** UPDATE ** I ended up flashing BIOS but having hard time with NIC card. It doesn't work (no PXE, yellow sign in windows) I tried ASRock NIC tool, same as the poster before me it said platform not supported. Then I tried eeupdate with correct NIC, it changed the MAC address but still same issues. I attached the working BIOS with NIC issues (which was also downloaded from forum)

your dump file has no dmi can u send me the serial number of your unit?
