ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO - no POST

    Hi

I have an ASUS Maximus X Hero with Z370 chipset on the workbench.
It powers on, but POST not starting, 00 on the display.

In standby there are only 2 voltages present 1,05V and 3,3V, Super I/O and Chipset seem to be OK (good temperature, no power short). Chipset LED's are working.

I guess some other stand-by voltage is missing, I suspect for memory, at least other mobo's do have it i in stand-by. The mobo is starting, and CPU fan works, but CPU has no voltages present, memory too. Checked also some ENable signals on the PWM cotrollers (CPU/Memory), and they are all in disabled level.

If somebody could give me a hint what could be the reason, or check on a working mobo which voltages and where should be present in stand-by mode, I'd appreciate that.

    Thanks in advance.

Re: ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO - no POST

Hi, the topic can be closed, it came out that my test CPU was broken, and this was the reason the mobo did not POST.
