Toshiba A660 LA-6062P Clicking mainboard

Hi guys...

I have one toshiba a660 with very strange problem... when I plug in charger something on mainboard clicking... I dissasembly everythng and only mainboard with DC port and pluged in charger same thing happening... clicking...

I use multimeter and something strange happening at PL5 and PL4

PL5 5.17v and after clicks 4.09v
PL4 3.33v and after clicks 1.43v

PL10 0v always

Laptop won't power on and no battery charging


Please help

u have short in some switched power rail. in schematic i dont see pl10.

I check mainboard but I didn't find short... I will check again now...

check b+ to all rail... maybe a resistor an open somewhere?!

as first try another adapter, if making same, than
inject 19V to B+ line to separate power problem, make jump from dc jack

I try with different charger... same thing happend

you mean to put direct 19v here on pq6?

Maybe I'm so stupid but I cannot find short on that part... I check all components that I marked with orange...
I try to change PQ8 and PQ7 and same thing happening clicking when I plugin charger...

When I check with multimetar PC174 in buzzer mod I got 004 value and beeping is that normal?

Chec current sensing circuit...PR45, PR59 and PR61.

From all the above tests you have short on P2,I would lift PQ8 and retest

check gate signals of all trasistors under pq7 in schematic

PQ18 0v on gate and when board click after that got 2.16v
PQ14 0v on gate and when click got 1.45v

I have one of this laptop and has few days ago the similar problem. Finaly i discover that the problem was a CPU burnt. I change it and now mobo start for a few seconds and stop . I think that i have now other problem whit the bios.
Some one have's the bios bon file for this model, A660-13t?
Y need this to programming whit the chip out of the board. Thanks
