    Hitachi 50HYT62U no picture

    Hitachi 50HYT62U, has backlights but no picture, just completely blank screen, any ideas anyone??

    See if you have about 12 volts on each side of the fuse on tcon board.

        Try unplugging the wifi module, check for any change.

          Tried that, no change.

          Also tried holding power button for 60 seconds, plugging in tv, and continuing to hold a further 60 seconds

              What do you get on the screen if you only have one ribbon cable between LCD panel and the T-CON connected one at a time?

                    Guess you could test your caps on the driver board for shorts or very low ohms.

                      The LCD panel has integrated T-CON board and also located at the bottom edge of the LCD panel which is easily damaged by the cleaning liquid, so inspect the T-CON/Tab bonding board for damages and also check the caps resistance as suggested.

                        Doesnt appear to be any damage to anything. Which baord is the driver board??

                          So you remove the LCD frame to get to the T-CON/Tab bonding boards?
