ONKYO TX-SR607 ; FL Tube LCD Replacement ?

    Hello
I have bought few years ago a ONKYO TX-SR607.
No problem with it since one month..
Everything working well except LCD... i have a black screen.
I have found this post :

    https://www.justanswer.com/electroni...splay-not.html

    this schematic information

    https://www.commentreparer.com/doc/15372/onkyo.pdf

I have check the resistance R950 and no problem with it i have replace it by a new one : same
I have control on Q7002 tension and i have 4.1V

I think electric my problem is FL tube inside.

Is someone have try to change it ?
    It is possible ?

    Thanks

It is common to have bad solder joints at the tube because the pins are made of Kovar and do not solder easily. Or the power transformer pins have bad solder connections, or at the middle board.

For a dead fluorescent display, check that the tube has power to the filament. You can also see the lines glow orange in a dark room. I guess it should be about 6VAC between pin 1, 62 on the tube FLAC1, FLAC2 from the AMP PWB with R950 then P950, P951 on big transformer T901. It should go to the power transformer winding S2. I had one amp with a bad solder joint at the transformer's pins (varnish). You have to trace it back, or measure ohms for each lead from display to transformer. - BUT the low winding and filament resistance can fool you into thinking the connection is good.

If the tube has air in it, the getter will turn white.

Another note, the Onkyo has three step brightness control (DIMMER button) on the remote and see what that does.

look for electrolytic caps connected with it.
if you find one, try using a 1uf polyester in it's place.
