    Double image, Blur and Whitening on Grundig LCD 32





    This is 32" Grundig LCD TV.

    After a few minutes images corrupts. it's blur, white and double..

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciate.

    Try turning down the backlights NOT brightness, see if the double image gets better.

      Try cooling the COF, doubled images due to Gate drive failure.
      BTW, picture #1 with bunch of black diamond patterns, do they go away and changed to double images?

        Yes, it does.

        is this panel problem?

        is it repairable? is it expensive? I'm about the buy this TV.

          Might be able to get a good picture with the "cut tape" method, many threads here and on youtube for the procedure.

              yes, if the panel is O.K.
              whole tv is 40$ in istanbul.

                I wouldn't pay 40 for a 32 inch tv in this condition, more than likely it's cof as mentioned which is considered un-fixable without very expensive equipment. The cut tape etc. methods sometimes work for certain conditions but how long they will last is always the question. It's one thing to try fixing your tv that you already own but to pay for one with this type fault, nah, plus I never heard of a grundig tv, PASS.
