![]() I have a LCD combo tv model RCA RLCDV3282A-B, and it broke down. The symptoms were
[1] very low volume [2] flickerring image proportional to sound and brightness [3] the power turns off and on every few minutes So I took it apart and looked at the power board. I found some swollen capacitors. So I replaced all electrolytic capacitors (14 of them) according to their original specs. Unfortunately it did not fixed all problems. I have a the volume and no more flickering (good image). However, the power turns off and on every few minutes randomly. What I am missing? ![]() ![]() Last edited by SMDFlea; 05-16-2022 at 12:42 PM.. Reason: Added "RCA RLCDV3282A-B" to thread title |

![]() might be a solder joint problem, recheck your work and check all other solder joints.

(Signature) One of the first and least expensive things you can do when you have an issue is take the powerboard out of the tv, flip it over and look the solder joints over with a magnifying glass if needed, add a little flux to make the solder flow well and add solder to any joints that look even a little suspect. You can practice on a scrap pcb board if needed, careful not to bridge any joints, and always let the board sit for quite a while or discharge the big caps with an appropriate resister before working on it (safety first) to try to keep from getting shocked, it doesn't take 1000 volts to KILL, a lot less can kill, so be careful, it's only a tv. |

![]() For all of the replies, thank you. I am attaching pcb board images. I accept criticism with no hard feelings.

![]() Can't see your connector pin out. Need to check your voltages on connector to mainboard.
