Dell Latitude E7450 LA-A961P dead, Need help and schematic

    Hello,

I have a problem with latitude E7450. Got it from friend with no signs of power, when there is AC plugged it shows any signs of life and something is heating near PU800.

Can someone help me to find out what is wrong with this motherboard or have schematic?

Hi, I have 2 boards with the same problem, it all started with a shorted cap on power line, after replacing the cap I still see that the PU800 is heating up and laptop does not power on. I have ordered a replacement pu800 (CD3301B) chips, and they should come within a month as I could find them only on ebay. I will let you know it replacing that chip fixes the problem.

In my case it was 2 dead capacitors PC715 and PC717, they shorted CHAGER_SRC power to GND. Just replaced them and the laptop booted up fine.
