    LA-E791P Fan voltages

    Hello to everyone.
    A screw thrown by mistake on board. CPU Fan stopped working.
    HP screen with CPU Fan problem shown from now and on.

    CPU Fan voltages now are :

    5v on red
    3v on yellow
    blue and black circuied on Ground

    Please help...

    What did the screw land on ? As the fan has 3v on the Pwm call I’d say your fans shot, try another.

    Edit: What’s the pin out for the fan ?

      Thank you for the fast responce.
      Landed near cpu fan's jack.

      I tried new fan. The same results. No spin

      4pins fan. The blue one takes control depends on the temperature...
      I metered voltages from another working board from an HP-15 with AMD cpu, and I saw that the blue has 1v on startup and next goes to 3v giving spins to cpu fan

      The problem is that there is no schematic for this sh!t and I can't find the pinout circuit of blue cable and where it goes...

        I found that it takes voltages from ENE which is programmable. pin 26 is for blue cable which is bridged with ground.. It means that I need another ENE chip programmed properly...
