Dell p93g Inspiron 5482 2-in-1

Can someone help me
BOARD ID is :BUCKY BENSOLO WHL CNL MB TVMHG$CA 17859-1
the unit turns on for a second then turn off . I'm looking for some dump so i can try if this is a bios issue .

make a backup of the bios, check it with the HxD program and try the bios from post # 2 ... if it doesn't work, post the backup.

I have this same problem, the laptop goes off after few seconds. When I tried the BIOS file on Post # 2 of "Peste" the motherboard stop turning off, but the fan does not spin & the AMP meter shows absolute "0" amp & The WHITE LED stay on. I am assuming that this is the BOIS problem. I am attaching my original BIOS for this motherboard 17859-1., kindly if someone can fix this problem of ours. Thanks in advance.

You assume right,as your bios backup is for an Inspiron 5481 .Try the attached new bios .

I have tried the files from SMDflea
same results ---- light on ..fan spins ... PSU goes up to 0.79Amps then back to 001Amps with no display.
I discovered the CPU gets a Temperature Spike super hot for 2-3sec then off (when tested with no heatsink on) but even with a heatsink and thermal paste it takes the same amount of time to cut off without posting.

The bios at post #6 is for the Inspiron 5481 as i said in the post. What model number is your laptop ? ,according to your service tag you have a 5482 ,try the bios at post #2

The bios at post #6 is for the Inspiron 5481 as i said in the post. What model number is your laptop ? ,according to your service tag you have a 5482 ,try the bios at post #2

I tried it (The file on Post 2) same results switch on goes to about 0.79A for 3-4 Seconds then back to standby at 0.01Amp

It worked with the attached file but I had to leave it for a few minutes while I thought its on standby on 0.03amps, I came back it was on.

Attached is ME firmware,already renamed to ME Sub Partition.bin (from 12.0.7.1122_CON_LP_C_PRD_RGN.bin) , and FIT 12

Try it ,just follow the guide carefully. When you build the FW and get the outimage.bin open it with MEAnalyzer it should say configured
