IM thinking this may not have done it correctly.
Are these test clips usually hard to connect to the chip.?

remove your chip from the motherboard before reading or writing..do not use the clip, you may have errors ..

                  HI again
I have directly soldered wires from the clip cable to the chip.
The detect tells me the manufacturer is unknown, also memory name and size.
It does show memory type manufacture r id ,memory capacity and device id.
Just want to make sure I have not made any wrong connections before I desolder the chip since I now have solid connections straight to the pc.
red wire goes to pin 1 etc .No shorts..
                  pls help.
When I click verify it tell me chip and its contents are in disagreement.'

As Peste mention, you MUST remove eeprom from board in order to autodetect, read, erase, write etc etc and avoid damaging motherboard.

Soldering wires is same as using clip

Try AsProgrammer software instead, select the ch341a under hardware first, then choose the bios chip manually https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...6&postcount=10
Attach the charger to the laptop before making a backup,be careful not to short anything out with the clip.

                                      HI again guys.
here is my file ,hopefully its now correct.
                                      Read with asprogrammer.

Ok im guessing this also not right.
I dont understand what I am doing wrong.
Im sure the chip has been soldered the correct way with the dots matching.
I assume nothing else is meant to be connected (adapters etc)to the programmer apart from the chip itself.
The software sees it..I click read ic' ,progress bar takes a min or so..can someone help pls.
