    Identify component marked K72

    Hello, I need help with the identification of a component.

        stj is correct, it is a Diodes Incorporated 2N7002DW

          Thanks very much. Maybe you can help me with troubleshooting. What can be the reason that the part burns through. Like in the picture here?

              It burnt because there was too much current going through the mosfet. likely a short on one side of the mosfet.
              You have provided a photo of the bad part, We have no idea what it is on so how can we help troubleshoot it?

                It is on a circuit board for a robot lawn mower. The component is for the engine control. After a short period of operation, the part will be named. Is it possible that it burns out due to a production defect in the component? When I have the circuit board back on the table, I take complete pictures
