Open your bios with a hex editor and search for the word BID , you should be able to this by now after 600 posts. Go to the HP support site,enter the serial number,download the bios update. Run the exe and choose to save to a location. You should now have the extracted virgin bios matching the same BID. All thats left to do is copy your DMI (serial etc) from your backup to the new bios using a hex editor, a 1 minute job.Originally posted by Pascal Komlassan View Post
