Unfortunately the unlocking is done on the EC chip but with the condition that the original bios is kept. In the forum, there is a case of losing the original bios and everything is coming to a standstill.

        Post the mainboard number.
I don't provide help for people using CH341A and a clip.

How did you solve your issue? I had a bios locked 450 G8, i removed chip to read and got someone else to remove password. I flashed the .bin that they gave me to the chip and was in manufacturing mode. Then removed the chip again and was told to flash back the original .bin (which i still have). I then tried updating the bios from inside the bios via ethernet. It had 5 updates to do. On the 5th update, it said finailizing bios update, then retarted into a constant bootloop. Since that, I can no longer get it to boot anymore and it flashes 7 white on num lock, indicating bios. Any help would be appreciated.

probook 450 g8 - not sure if programming is correct

I have a bios locked 450 G8 (was locked actually), i removed chip to read .bin and got someone else to remove password. the 3 attached are
1.probook 450 g8 is the original locked bin
2.unlocked-probook 450 g8 is the .bin that someone unlocked for me from the original
3.newprobook450g8 is the .bin i was told to flash after i explained the bootloop situation.

the guy who unlocked for me doesnt speak the best english and i feel some sort of miscommunication mightve happend.
