Read post 15 and 16 in this thread. The password is stored in the ITE chip,you`ll need to program it.

Hi all members

So I downloaded this file and programmed the bios, it worked. after few reboots it fail again. I programmed it again and worked. gave the laptop to the customer he came back after a day. now the laptop is turning on and after few second shut down
checked for short but nothing so I flashed the bios again and it worked

Anyone came across this problem? maybe bad chip?

The solution is to update the bios from Lenovo after programming the chip.
