        Omg, I am very sorry.

        I have a different motherboard:
        ZIWBO/B1/E0
        LA-B102P Rev: 1.0

Should I start another thread on this forum?

Yes, this thread is for NM-A311 and all advises are based on that mb which will mislead you. Better start a new thread.

Hi all, I have the same laptop with this issue. In my case the IO chip, IT8586E , was burnt. The chip was recovered from lenovo NM-A271 and programmed with a dump from this forum. Someone has found a solution to this defect?

I find the problems, someone changed the ram memory and it was not compatible, the laptop is working now.

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup

                  Hello,
I've got an G50-30 NM-A311 rev 1.0 mobo with no display - only led and no display.
Found burning hot KBC chip. Bought a mobo which comes to a backlight, capslock working, cpu seams heating up - but no display.
Replaced KBC chip from bought mobo - and nothing - no backlight, capslock.
Replaced BIOS chip from bought mobo - starts up, shutes down, caplock working - but nothing on display but backlight.
Tried differend found bios'es , but backlight and capslock work only in this from a bought donor board.
Tried to make a new bios from a manufacturer site - nothing,
tried to clear ME region with clean one - nothing.
What else can I try, or how to check if CPU/PCH is dead?

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup

                    So I'm stuck on this:
                    1. Original bios from mobo with cleared ME region - Black lcd with polarisation, works HDMI (with plugged LCD), VGA - only when LCD disconnected,
                    2. 2nd bios - withe ME cleared - same situation but LCD has backlight.

So different bios different LCD behave.
Can it be KBC needs reprogramming somehow?

                      Yes, kbc is programmable.

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup

Today I've changed KBC for new preprogrammed one.
Same story - so my old KBC was acting same as new one.
