    HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2

Hi all,Hp model EliteBook x360 1030 G2 ( Motherboard OLDMAN-6050A2848001-MB-A01 )... Actually there is a short to ground on one of the main rails. Now I am assuming it might be the 19volt rail because the amp meter show increase amp when I plug in the DC-in jack, but I removed some main caps, still the same. I injected 1 volts on this assumed rail. My power supply increases the amps by 1.65amp but nothing turns hot. Can anyone help please.

Ok, I found the fault without the schematics.... Actually one component is shorted & for sure this is on the 19 volts main rail, removed it, all short gone. I no idea what this component is. Pls. view photos of the component & where it is placed on the main motherboard next to the inductance coil 1R5750. Like these components are place on all the paths of the 19 volts rails. If anyone have any idea of this component, pls. inform me. I am assuming it a package of Diodes, Maybe!!!! The # on this component shows APAH639

Hi "mcplslg123"., got this part Nb679agd-z today.. Soldered it, all short gone, no shorts at all. I get the 3.3 & 5 Volt. Now what happens is that as soon as I plug in the power cord, the fan start to run, LED are on, then after a while the motherboard turns off & then on again by itself. This happen on continues basis & the amp which is it taking is of the fan .08 amp, & amp do not increase or decrease beside 0.08. I checked the CPU core coils, no voltage at all on these two inductor coils. Do you have any idea what is going on. I have even asked Badcaps for both 8 & 16MB BIOS rectification. But do you think this might be the BIOS problem? Motherboard installed is OLDMAN-6050A2848001-MB-A01
