    power speaker board AMP008-1

this amp board keep burning t1p4c1 transistor any help would be great think the resistor and the input section may be the problem not correct rating

That TIP41C got mighty toasty. Catastrophic failure usually is caused by catastrophic issues... do you know what happened before it started frying these? This is not the first transistor it fried?

Who made the amplifier? What model is it, perhaps someone can find the schematic.

Else please show a good photo of the tracks on the other side of the board.

possibly fake replacement .. check the outputs and the connections .

i hope you used an insulator on that tip41c

so I the replace resistor up by the input section and also a a1015 transistor ,its no longer burning that fast but getting really hot .

not supposed to get hot, you have a short somewhere...question now is... what is that transistor being used for?

it is use to amplified the circuit , think the may be a short in the bias section

                    Re: power speaker board

reason why I ask is something seems very wrong with the circuit.
Yes the TIP41 is paired with the TIP42 but I would imagine audio amplifiers should be stereo these days and this is not paired with another channel so I don't know what it's doing. Is this a 2.1 amplifier perhaps, still odd the high power transistors are paired and these mere TIP41/TIP42 is not if they go to the LFE.

Also resistors usually do not go short when they fail.

what is the full history of this thing from when it worked up until now ? to me anything could have happened from a lightning strike to anyone's guess
